Nursing Now is a three-year (2018-2020) global campaign run in collaboration with International Council of Nurses (ICN) and World Health Organization (WHO) aiming to raise the status and profile of nursing as well as to empower nurses and finally to improve global health. Nurses at the heart of most health professions are the closest to the community, having a role in developing new models of community-based care and support every effort to nursing the world to health. To echo this global initiative, Taiwan Nurses Association (TWNA) launched its first Taiwan Nursing Now in February 2018. Furthermore, through an active promotion by TWNA, government, many nursing organizations and hospitals around Taiwan also began this meaningful movement, especially that Taiwan President Ing-Wen Tsai gave her full support.
