Dear colleagues and friends:

Thank you for all your heartfelt message regarding the 7.2 magnitude earthquake hitting Hualien City in eastern Taiwan and affecting many other cities on April 3. This is the most powerful one in 25 years since the Jiji earthquake on September 21, 1999.

We are extremely sad that this devastating earthquake has caused 12 deaths and more than 1,000 injuries (dated April 5, 2027). Your thoughts and concerns for our people are deeply appreciated during this difficult time.

We are committed to assisting those affected and will do our best to support our nursing colleagues working tirelessly at frontlines. Your warm words of compassion are truly touching and comfort everyone here in Taiwan. Thank you.
